Positive: Very central property, about 5 minutes walk from Brixton station with great facilities. Area itself was very quiet and we had a really comfortable stay. Brixton area is fantastic for independent shops, markets etc. Our hosts were also very helpful and informative and response times were quick. We would definitely return to stay when next in London!

Pleasant stay in quiet corner of bustling brixton. Needs a serious freshening up given the price Positive: It was very quiet while being very close from Brixton station and the market. The bedroom has an bay window opening on the garden. Very nice Negative: The place smells mold quite a bit. There is a lot of humidity. The kitchen is poorly equipped. No coffee to speak of. Overall needs a serious freshening up given the price per night

Nice flat but badly maintained and host refuses to accept responsibility. Do not recommend. Positive: Good location, good-sized bed, good bedding, access instructions were clear, a fan was provided in the hot weather, property was clean. Some issues with damp in bathroom but makeshift efforts clear to mitigate worst effects. Negative: Property has not been adequately maintained; it's impossible to easily open the blind (only source of light and air in entire apartment) as string is broken free from mechanism so it's necessary to manually roll and unroll the blind, with difficulty; the bedside lamps are both broken; the toilet seat is broken; the television lacks a remote and cannot be operated. Host does not acknowledge that property is deficient and refuses to accept responsibility. For 4-night stay (£740.36), host offered £40 (5.4% of total) then £50 (6.7%) refund, while I was in property, while also refusing to address all my concerns. After I checked out and following arbitration with booking.com, host continues to negate responsibility so booking.com stepped in to offer more adequate compensation. Horrible experience with host, glad I'm done with it.

Landlord special Positive: The host were nice and responsive to our issues, and it was cheep for london. Negative: I felt I was in a house of cards. All the furniture is very cheap and I was worried id break it and be charged for it. I loved the idea of a steam room but the apartment is so poorly vented it actually made the whole studio wet and even caused some warping on my passport in the living area. It was not cleaned very well either. The bathtub was dirty and had a used band-aid on the edge. The bed frame was broken when we arrived. They tried to fix it during our stay but it kept breaking. They offered us some money back but then paid less then what they said they would. I just want to leave an honest review so others are not disappointed like we were.
